Day 1: Arrival - Tyrol

Arrive at your hotel in the Inn Valley where you will spend your next 5 days of the Tyrol tour. Tyrol is a western Austrian state in the Alps that’s known for its ski resorts, historic sites, and folk traditions. Tyrol had one of the most important north-south links of the Roman Empire, the Via Claudia Augusta.

Day 2: Tratzberg

Visit one of the most beautiful post-gothic castles in Europe, Tratzberg which is located on a breathtaking hillside over the Inn Valley in the Alps, and experience its exciting history by yourself. Afterward, we recommend a visit to the cozy fairy medieval town of Rattenberg, the smallest town in Austria.

Day 3: Ambras

As an option, today you might visit Ambras – the castle that is considered one of the most significant sights of the capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck. In the afternoon, enjoy a trip up to the mountains by the “Nordketten” cable railways accompanied by the impressive scenery of Alp, coffee, and cake!

Day 4: Kufstein

Today we recommend a trip to the town of Kufstein and its mighty fortress. Remarkable Kufstein Fortress dominates the landscape of Kufstein as much today, as it did centuries ago. Being Kufstein’s most famous sight, the fortress towers high above the town and is worth visiting. The charm and attraction of this town lie in its contrasts, which you can discover walking down the old streets.

Day 5: Tyrol Tour

Enjoy a scenic tour through the picturesque Tyrol. Visit the well-known mountain resort of Kitzbühel, get a charge out of your free time in the city as well as a horse and carriage ride before traveling to Ellmau. There take a trip on the funicular up along the Hartkaiser Mountain to an altitude of 1.555 m and enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

Day 6: Departure
