Four Countries
Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland – 4 countries and 1000 impressions on one tour.
Day 1
Arrive at your hotel in the Arlberg region in Austria.
Day 2
Travel through the Bregenz Forest region to the capital of Vorarlberg, Bregenz, located on the shores of Lake Constance. Enjoy a city tour before traveling onto the Pfänder cable car just outside of Bregenz. In just a few minutes, you will be whisked up to an altitude of 1064 m above sea level where you can enjoy the breath-taking panorama while having coffee and cake in the mountain restaurant or do a relaxing walk along the deer park trail and visit birds at the falconry. We also recommend a "behind the scenes" tour of the Bregenz festival house where you will see the world’s biggest lake stage and learn lots of interesting facts about the history and development of the Bregenz Festival.
Day 3
Travel along Lake Constance to Meersburg, where you join the ferry to the town of Konstanz. Visit the unique Flower Island of Mainau, one of the main highlights of Lake Constance. Discover the park and its amazing gardens. Explore the diversity of this island to the full extent. In the afternoon, return to your hotel.
Day 4
Visit the principality of Liechtenstein where we recommend a guided round tour. Afterward travel via Werdenburg, a small medieval town, to St. Gallen where you can enjoy a walk along the mysterious streets of the old town with its colorful houses from the 16th and 18th centuries, as well as the Baroque cathedral with its abbey library, the oldest library of Switzerland. Alternatively, take the Arosa train from Chur to Arosa and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of Switzerland.
Day 5
Extend your stay, combine with another tour, or depart home.
TIPS
Extend your Tour to a 5-countries-tour. We suggest a trip over the spectacular "Reschenpass" into Italy. Your first destination will be Meran on the South Tyrol wine route. Discover the main sights of Meran with your personal guide. Highly recommended is a visit to the wonderful gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. On your return journey, you could stop in the Olympic capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck.
